Stoves are not all the same, but every manufacturer says their product is the best. There are more choices than ever before. Steel or cast iron? Traditional or contemporary? Wood burning or multifuel? Defra approved or Eco Design ready? Has your search left you stove blind? With so much noise out there, its bound to get confusing. Don't panic, we are here to help.
Some projects are led by budget and some by design. Use our experience of colours, shapes, and textures to find your unique balance of form and function at the right price.
Existing or new customers can subscribe below and we will add you to our annual service list. Owners are often ignorant of the damage they are doing to their stoves through improper use or poor quality fuel. Our annual check up leaves the stove looking like new but more importantly prolongs the life of your investment and keeps it operating efficiently and safely for the years ahead.
But that's not the end of the story. We will still be on hand for chimney sweeping, servicing and parts, advice, support and of course, some bags of logs.
Chimney and fireplace work is a messy business but we have done it a thousand times. Considerate of our work environment, we dustsheet the whole area before we work and we are not finished until we have cleaned and vacuumed. Our installations carry years of experience and tried and tested methods. Our customers appreciate not only our craftsmanship, but that we care.
Solid Fuel chimneys need to be swept every year. Your stove also requires and annual service. This forms part of most warranty and home insurance terms. After sweeping the chimney we remove internals to clean and prevent rust. Stove and pipe seals are refreshed and tested. The stove is repainted and the glass and hearth cleaned. The installation is smoke tested and commissioned for another year, giving you peace of mind.
Where possible we try to repair before replacing parts. We specialise in various brands and can source them for you. We are also a supplier of Helko axes and kiln dried logs.
If your next project includes a stove or chimney system let us help you. We know you have a lot to consider on site so we can work directly with you or your customer. We can timetable our works to the different stages of your build. Whatever makes your job easier.
